NDC activist donates motorbikes to the party

Mr. Smart Aziblame, a 45-year-old tutor at the Yamfo Vocational Training Institute, has presented three motor bikes to the Brong Ahafo Regional office the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Sunyani.

The motorbikes, valued at GH?4,500.00, are to enable the party to travel to the grassroots to canvass for more votes ahead of the upcoming general election.

Mr. Aziblame, a stalwart of the party in the Tano North Constituency, was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Monica Atuya.

He stressed the need for members and sympathizers of the party to rally behind the party by supporting either in cash or in kind in the electioneering campaign.

Mr. Aziblame, who is also a businessman, said now that the party had lost its presidential candidate, Professor John Evans Atta Mills, it behooved on the party’s hierarchy as well as supporters to close their rank and file to demonstrate unity of purpose for victory in the elections.

Receiving the bikes Mr. Opoku Atuahene, NDC Regional Chairman, thanked the donor and expressed the hope that other well-to-do sympathizers and members of the party would emulate Mr. Aziblame’s kindness and contribute their quota for the party to retain power.**
