Stanbic donates to Accra Psychiatric Hospital

Accra, Dec. 30, GNA - The Management of Stanbic Bank on Thursday donated a water tank and assorted food items to the Accra Psychiatric Hospital. Mr George Mensah, Head of Information Technology of the bank, said the donation was part of the corporate social responsibility of the financial entity to support the welfare of the less privileged. Mr Mensah said the donation of the tank was aimed at easing the problem of water storage in the hospital. He said the donation was the first of its kind and promised to do more in the coming years. Mr Nsiah Anyetei, Principal Nursing Officer of the hospital, thanked the bank for the donation. He said it was the hope of the hospital that the donation would propel other institutions and individuals to come on board to support the medical facility either in cash or kind.
