POLICE INTERCEPT CAR WITH c1m FAKE NOTES.

The Police Special Task Force on recently arrested three men at the Airport Residential Area in Accra, with nearly c1 million notes and 64 pieces of plain paper cut to the size of c500 notes.

Mr John Abudu, Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations showed newsmen the fake notes at the Police Headquarters and said they all bore the same serial number A/402814276, and they had no water marks. He advised the public to be weary of new c1000 notes in circulation bearing the serial number A/4 02814276.
