Amina is free

The state failed to build a case against Amina Mohammed who was on trial for causing fear and panic. She was charged after she claimed that female passengers on a bus were raped by armed robbers. Government hit at her hard, insisting the story was false and, possibly, a political ploy to make it unpopular, especially considering that President Mills had vowed to root out armed robbery. After all the huffing a puffing, however, the case against Amina failed, leaving the nation to wonder once again: was she telling the truth?
