To express the seriousness of the organisers, a leading member, and MP for Afigya Sekyere East, Mr Albert Kan-Dapaah, is reported to have urged the police to prepare to kill all of the protestors will take part in the demonstration.

Mr Kan-Dapaah is said to have expressed disgust at the conduct of the police in last Thursday's protest in Kumasi against the alleged assault by Nana Akwasi Agyeman, on a "JOY FM programme - 'Cross-Fire'. The MP is quoted as saying that "the city of Kumasi will rise against the notorious Akwasi Agyeman to put an end to his barbaric acts", calling on the police to "either act professionally or be ready to kill all of us".
