The Nigerian Union of Traders in the Ashanti Region has cautioned its members living in Ghana to return to Nigeria if they have no legitimate business in Ghana.
According to the union, they do not want to mar the good relationship between Ghana and Nigeria.
This is what the union had to say; “We the Executives of the community are telling them to leave Ghana. If you don’t have anything doing in Ghana, go back to Nigeria.
That is what we are telling them. If they don’t have anything doing in Ghana it is better they go to Nigeria”
This comes after it has been reported that lots on Nigerians have been involved in recent kidnapping cases and other criminal activities.
These criminal activities angered some traders in the Ashanti Region and decided to close down the shops belonging to Nigerians at the Suame Market.
According to the Ghanaian traders, they want the Nigerians to go back to their country because they are not abiding by the rules of the country.
