A former Vice-Chancellor of University of Professional Studies, Accra, Prof Joshua Alabi and wife Prof Goski Alabi last Saturday celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in their plush East Legon villa.
The wedding anniversary attracted members of the clergy, some members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), academics, some members of the civil society, East Legon neighbours and friends of the couple.
Prof Joshua Alabi is seeking to lead the NDC as the flagbearer in the 2020 general elections. He is contesting alongside former President John Dramani Mahama who lost the 2016 national elections with an unprecedented score of 44.4%.
A native of Ga with a strong connection to the Northern Region, his roles as Minister of State, Regional Chairman of the NDC, Campaign Manager for the Late Prof John Evans Atta Mills and a University Professor place Joshua Alabi in a unique position.
He appeals to students, teachers, corporate Ghana, a cross-section of Ghanaians and members of the NDC who were active during his political leadership days under Flt Lt Jerry John Rawlings, former President of Ghana.
