Great Olympics marksman, Abel Manomey, remains hopeful of featuring for Hearts in the future but is determined to complete his stay on the relegated side.

Mamomey had a blistering start to the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League having scored five goals in nine appearances for the ‘Wonder Club’ but a horrific injury suffered in the course of the season ruled him out for months.

Hearts failed to secure the services of the player in past recent years despite showing keen interest in former Kotoku Royals striker whose quality is certainly top notch.

In an interview with Ghanacrusader.com, Mamoney relishes playing for Hearts in the near future despite turning down an offer by the Phobians a few seasons back but reiterated his desire to complete his stay with Olympics which ends next year.

“I will be delighted to play for Hearts in the near future. They attempted to secure my services before my move to Olympics but a deal couldn’t materialize,” he told Ghanacrusader.com

Manomey remains defiant about Great Olympics survival in the league with some outstanding protests yet to be cleared by the Disciplinary Committee despite being relegated in the just ended season.

“I’m hopeful of playing in the Premier League for Great Olympics because we still have some outstanding cases to be cleared,” Manomey said.
