Grant invites Adomah, Mensah

Black Stars coach Avram Grant has named a 23- man squad including Portugal- based debutant Bernard Mensah for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Mauritius this month.

Coach Grant also recalled England-based winger Albert Adomah who returns to the squad for the first time since the 2014 World Cup in Brazil for the match to be played in Accra.

Stars Deputy Captain, Andre Ayew, was however excluded from the squad as he is recovering from injury.

The list is dominated by players who played for the Black Stars in the AFCON 2015 in Equatorial Guinea.

Ghana will start their camping on Thursday before playing Mauritius in their opening Group H qualifier in Accra on Sunday, June 14, 2015.

Black Stars squad for AFCON qualifier against Mauritius:
