GCPP is the only hope for Ghana – Henry Lartey

Dr Herbert Henry Lartey, Leader of the Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP), has posited that his party is the most formidable political party, which Ghanaians should consider giving power come 2016.

He said Ghanaians need to break the myth that, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is the only strong opposition party and the assertion that there is no formidable third force to wrestle power from the ruling National Democratic Congress.

“The GCPP is and should be regarded as the next formidable force on the Ghanaian political landscape since the NPP does not seem ready for power in 2016,” he said.

Dr Lartey, who spoke in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Koforidua, said it is only the GCPP, which has both strong domestic and international solution to the present economic hardship facing the country.

He said God has endowed Ghana with every resource needed to improve the citizens’ living conditions but unfortunately, the nation is presently hoping for very reliable political managers to ensure that Ghanaians are rescued from economic hardships.

“I would want to implore all Ghanaians to test and taste a new government; the GCPP is very ready to receive their mandate to offer them good leadership, good governance and a happy economic environment,” he said.

Dr Lartey said, so far, the GCPP is working on its regional structures, adding that the Party’s leadership had toured and is still touring the entire country with the “domestication” message for which many Ghanaians have come to see as the only solution to the nation’s economic predicament.

The leader of the GCPP asserted that, the ‘domestication’ ideology would revive all dead local industries, boost local production and make Ghana a high export nation rather than a high import one.

Dr Lartey said the GCPP is coming with a full force to capture power in 2016 and urged Ghanaians to join the winning train and consider voting for the GCPP at the general election.
