Aduana writes to FIFA to clear Yaya Mohammed

Premier league side Aduana Stars, has written to the world football’s governing body Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) for newly signed midfielder, Yaya Mohammed to seek clearance for him to play in the second round of the First Capital Plus Premier League.

Speaking to sportscrusader.com on the availability and eligibility of the player in the second round of the league, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aduana Stars, Mr. Albert Yaya Commey disclosed that the club is making frantic efforts to get the clearance from FIFA to make him available for the second round matches.

“We have sent a letter to FIFA to clear Yaya for us so that we can use him. He is a fine player who can help our ambition of winning the league and we hope FIFA clears him before the second round”. Mr. Commey said.

“Yaya signed for Ittihad Tripoli of Libya but the unrest in the country made it impossible for football to be played in the country.

“So after staying for five months without salary from the club, he decided to terminate his contract and come home to re-launch his career.

“We only need the clearance from FIFA to enable him to play to avoid any further litigation with any club”, He added.
