Kenpong deflects Lumba’s death rumour

Kenpong group executive president, Kennedy Agyapong, has rubbished wild rumours that highlife legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu, who is known in showbiz circles as Daddy Lumba is dead.

Kenpong, a close ally of the musician has described the report as unfortunate and has advised that those peddling the falsehood must refrain that.

Kenpong in an interview with journalists in Accra shortly after reports of the ace musician’s demise went viral on social media disclosed that “its unfortunate people peddle falsehood about Lumba.

“I was with him this afternoon when calls from all over came through my phone and his wanting to know the truth.

"It is not true that he is dead. Lumba is alive and kicking. Lumba is a true legend who has contributed immensely to the development of Ghanaian music in the country and beyond.

"They should continue to honour and applaud him instead of pushing him to his grave before his time," the business magnate advised Ghanaians.

Kenpong reveals Lumba in a very somber mood asked him why a section of the Ghanaian public wants him dead.
