Anane picks form to contest NPP Nhyiaeso primaries

Scores of supporters on Wednesday marched to the Nhyiaeso office of the New Patriotic Party to pick nomination forms for incumbent MP, Dr. Richard Winfred Anane, to contest the party’s upcoming parliamentary primaries.

The supporters amidst jubilation picked the Ghc1,000 form for the former Health Minister under the Kufuor administration.

According to the supporters, Dr. Anane deserves another term to represent them in Parliament because of some social intervention policies he has implemented during his reign.

They mentioned scholarship schemes for the youth, accessible healthcare, and massive road infrastructure among others as some of the reasons why Dr. Anane must be given the green-light by the party to represent them again.

Dr. Anane will face stiff opposition from other contenders including Ashanti Regional communication team member, Stephen Amoah, and former Regional Youth Organiser, Kennedy Kankam.
