Samsung begins preview of Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge

Technology giant, Samsung Electronics West Africa (SEWA), has begun preview and pre-order activation for its latest flagship handsets, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge at the Accra Mall.

The company said the activation is to give the general public a first-hand experience of Samsung’s latest handheld devices, and to provide consumers with diverse ways to express their style and device personalization.

Patrons would have access to the latest accessories featured in the preview and consumers who pre-order either of the phones during the activation, would also be given free wireless chargers to experience the technology of wireless charging.

The latest flagship in the Samsung Galaxy family has many advanced features that would offer users smart solutions to their everyday lives.

The company said the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge batteries support fast charging, and can offer up to four hours of usage time after only 10 minutes of charging.

Samsung's Ultra Power Saving Mode, which can keep the phone operational when the battery level hits the danger zone, returns in the new models.

The Galaxy S6 Edge also has an advanced lighting technology which emits exclusive lights from the edges that are colour-specific to various contacts and caller groups. This amazing feature helps the user identify who the caller is without looking at the phone.

Smartphone enthusiasts can go to the Accra, Marina and West Hills Malls to experience the all new Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.

Customers can also pre-order the devices at any authorized Samsung dealer shops and authorized operators near them.

The company said the activation would end on Thursday, April 16, ahead of the official launch on Friday, April 17.
