Rahim Ayew still shocked at Masud Dramani’s dismissal by Kotoko

Ex-Asante Kotoko midfielder Rahim Ayew has revealed he is still shocked at the Porcupine Warriors' decision to sack Didi Dramani after the ex-Black Maidens trainer guided the Kumapem club to win two Premier League titles and an FA Cup crown.

Dramani, who is currently in talks with Hearts of Oak to take over from Herbert Addo, was sacked from Kotoko following the club’s jerky start to this term’s Premier League.

“Yeah, I was surprised because he has done a lot and Didi is one of the best coaches in Ghana. There are a lot of great coaches in Ghana, but Didi is different, he understands players,” Rahim Ayew, a former Zamalek and Lierse SK player, told Accra-based radio station Starr FM.

The CAF Technical Instructor has not coached any team since he was relieved of his job at Asante Kotoko on February 16.
