ICAO announces 2015 women’s aviation scholarship

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), in conjunction with the International Aviation Women’s Association, has announced aviation scholarships for women for the year 2015.

A statement issued by the ICAO and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Monday said, the objective is to enhance the career development of women all over the world the opportunity to apply for a 2015 Aviation Scholarship.

It said candidates selected for the Aviation Scholarships would be able to augment their professional experience, by working on and contributing to specific aspects of the ICAO work programme for a period of nine months.

More details on the Aviation Scholarship may be obtained at careers.icao.int, and the deadline for receipt of applications is February 27, the statement added.
