Kwame Karikari scores in Halmstads 3-2 loss to Lyngby

Ghana attacker Kwame Amponsah Karikari was on target as his club Halmstads BK suffered a 3-2 defeat to Lyngby in a club friendly on Saturday.

The 23-year-old striker put the ball in the back of the net in the 23rd minute to cancel out Lyngby’s 19th-minute opener.

But Patrick Mortensen and Rochester Sorensen combined to hand Lyngby a 3-1 lead before Eric Smith netted a consolation goal for Halmstads.

The former AIK Stockholm goal-poacher has now scored 2 goals in 2 appearances for Halmstads since joining the club in January.
