Atsu congratulates James Rodriguez for winning FIFA Puskas Award

Ghana winger Christian Atsu took to Twitter to congratulate former teammate James Rodriguez for winning the FIFA Puskas Award- Goal of the Year.

Atsu, now on-loan at Everton from Chelsea, was teammate of the Colombian star at Porto.

Rodriguez’s control and volley from 25 yards in the last-16 tie of the FIFA World Cup was enough to win the award.

The 23-year-old, then at Monaco, was the top scorer in the World Cup and joined Real Madrid after the tournament.
