Court throws out Faisal’s application

An Accra Human Rights Court has dismissed King Faisal’s application for an injunction to prevent the Ghana Football Association (GFA) from organizing their annual congress.

The decision means the GFA can go ahead with the organization of the congress which precedes the annual football calendar.

The court also ruled that King Faisal is reinstated in the Premier League in the event the Kumasi-based club won its substantive case against relegation.

In that regard, the GFA was ordered by the court to provide a written undertaking within the next seven working days.
