NPP tells Mahama: Use state resources to better our lives

General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Kwabena Agyepong has entreated President John Dramani Mahama to make the welfare of the citizenry his utmost priority.

"Ensure that every pesewa is well utilized for the benefit of the ordinary Ghanaian," he admonished.

According to him, it is prudent for political players in the country to view their mandate as an opportunity given to them to serve the people.

"Political leadership must be seen as a privilege to serve the people. What we require now is less talk and more work," he said.

He further called for a redesigning of the voters register to prevent any future election litigation.

Kwabena Agyepong was presenting the NPP's solidarity message at the NDC's 8th National Delegates' Congress at the Baba Yara Sports stadium in Kumasi.
