Revealed: Seidu Bancey down with malaria in Egypt

Ghana striker Seidu Bancey is down with malaria, according to Smouha President Farag Amer.

It is unclear how long Bancey would be out of action but the 24-year-old attacker’s condition was revealed following the Egyptian club’s decision to sign Sewe Sports attacker Herman Kouadio ahead of its first appearance in the CAF Champions League.

Since joining Smouha from Asante Kotoko in August this year, Bancey has failed to command a starting place in Coach Denis Lavagne’s team despite enjoying a good pre-season with the Alexandria based club.
