Uganda defeats Ghana in 2015 AFCON qualifiers

Black Stars of Ghana lost to the Cranes of Uganda in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole. Ghana failed to defend a corner from their Uganda counterparts as an unmarked Ivan Ntege scored the only goal in the game in the 13th minute.
Missing key players Kwadwo Asamoah and skipper Asamoah Gyan, the Black Stars lacked cohesion upfront with a seeming balance midfield play.
Generally, the Black Stars performed poorly; missing clear scoring opportunities and off-target set pieces was all that could be recorded.
The Black Stars will be battling to secure a spot at the 2015 AFCON slated for Equatorial Guinea next year with a must win performance against Togo in Tamale on November 19; or what may come out of the football maths that will follow results of other games played.
