I disagree with government interference - GBSA President

Ghana Beach Soccer Association President, Yaw Ampofo-Ankrah has stated that former captain of the Black Stars, Samuel Osei Kuffour has made valid points about the handling of the Black Stars in Brazil but disagrees with the idea of government interference.
Yaw Ampofo made this point known after the former Bayern Munich player condemned the GFA and requested government interference.
“I do not agree with him on that because it might provoke a FIFA ban which would in turn cause collateral damage and potentially arrest the already stunted growth of Ghana football. Stakeholders must reach a common consensus to the benefit of the beautiful game in Ghana”.
“We have a big problem in Ghana; we have a big crisis in our football which did not happen overnight”.
He also spoke about the significance of the world cup commission of inquiry, "It’s been one of the most significant thing that has happened to Ghana football in the last 20-30 years, we may not know it now but in time, if the commission fulfil its mandate, and its recommendations followed, it would benefit Ghana football and sports in entirety".
On Kuffours’ assertion that Kwesi Nyantakyi should step down, “He has done well because he has done more good than bad for Ghana football but clearly he has hit an iceberg but hasn’t sunk yet, there is a possibility he can save himself, the GFA and Ghana football”.
He advised the GFA boss to admit to wrong doings, maybe deliberately or otherwise to help the situation.
