I’m enjoying life in Kuwait – Ghana’s Alexander

Al Salibikhaet Sporting Club midfielder Yaw Baadolo Alexander insists he is enjoying life in the Kuwait top-flight league after joining them in August.

The 23-year-old Kuwait's version of Michael Essien believes he has started very well after leaving the shores of Ghana and hopes greater feats are yet to be achieved.

“Life here [in Kuwait] is good because after joining the team, everything is working to perfection,” Alexander told Goal Ghana.

He added: “We have played eight matches so far in the season and I have started our last six games. Four wins, three draws and one defeat is quite a good start for the club because everyone is happy about our progress.”

The former Berekum Chelsea star says life in the Arab country is normal since he is with his former team-mate Abdul Basit.

“I'm very cool here because [Abdul] Basit is in the same team and lives closer also hence there is nothing like loneliness. I'm hoping to help the team to finish above last season's performance and thankfully Abdul Basit is also banging in the goals,” Alexander said.

Al-Salibikhaet SC finished eighth on the league log last season but are currently sixth, six points adrift of the leaders.
