AC Milan can attain Champions League slot

Midfielder Michael Essien believes that Milan can aim to return to the Champions League this season by finishing in the top three.

The Rossoneri have made a decent start to their Serie A campaign with three wins; two draws and one defeat.

Milan lie fifth on the table with 11 points.

“Last season was difficult for us, but now everything is different and things are much better. We need to take Milan back to the top,” Essien said.

“Our aim is to finish in the top three, and we will fight to achieve this goal.”
