McCarthy move to Great Olympics could collapse

Philemon McCarthy’s reported move to Ghana Premier League returnees Great Olympics is on the verge of collapse with the club failing to agree a deal with coach David Duncan.

The 28-year-old goalkeeper is available on a free transfer seeing out his contract with giants Hearts of Oak.

McCarthy has been linked with several clubs including Great Olympics with whom he has been training with for the last two weeks, but an insider has told GHANASoccernet.com that the move could fall through.

“McCarthy might not sign for Olympics from the way things are going,” he said.

“The move was close but has since gone cold in the past days and it looks like it might be off.”
