NIB receives West African Business award

The National Investment Bank (NIB) has been awarded the Best Bank in Medium and Long Term Loan Financing.

The bank was given the award at the maiden edition of the West African Regional Magazine – Business and Leadership Awards 2014 held in Brussels, Belgium, on the theme: “Promoting Sustainable Development in West Africa.”

The award was in respect of the bank’s contribution to the development of numerous successful industrial projects in Ghana, through equity and debt financing for the companies.

The event was to celebrate West African Leading Lights and to showcase abroad that, the sub-region is open for any level of business of as a result of the foundation built by political leaders as key architects for developments.

Mr Charles Wordey, Head, Corporate Affairs, received the award on behalf of the bank and paid tribute to the staff whose hard work and commitment had made it possible for the financial entity to be recognised for its efforts.

He thanked the organisers for recognising the efforts of the bank.
