Herbert Addo inspires Fiamenyo

Hearts of Oak coach Herbert Addo has urged under-fire striker Gilbert Fiamenyo to answer his critics by scoring goals.

Fiamenyo has come in for massive criticism for underperforming since making a big money move from Lions to Hearts of Oak.

The bulky striker has vowed to show his true colours and return the club to the glory days under Herbert Addo.

But after firing blank against Kotoko over the weekend, Addo has charged his striker to score more as that will be the only way to answer his critics.

“Gilberts work shift has been encouraging and there is the desire to improve from him,” Addo told GHANASoccernet.com.

“He will have to score more that will be his only weapon against those who doubt him.

“For a striker once the goals are not coming it is impossible to have the fans behind you but once they start coming you are good.”
