Kotoko to host Hearts in "Super Clash'

Asante Kotoko will host rivals Hearts of Oak on Monday afternoon in the first leg of the Super Clash friendly match at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The two biggest clubs in the country have agreed to play engage other in a two-legged tie and share the gate proceeds.

Officials say it will help to whip up enthusiasm ahead of the start of the Ghana Premier League which has delayed because of a court case.

Kotoko will be fielding their new signings including striker Ahmed Toure who flirted with Hearts in off-season and played for them in the Top 4 tournament.

The Porcupine Warriors have also recruited Obed Owusu from Berekum Chelsea, Latif Abubakar, Akwasi Acheampong and others who will feature.

Hearts of Oak will be testing new signings Richard Yamoah, striker Fofovi Aguidi and former Asante Kotoko gloves man Abdoulaye Soulama.
