Godfred Asante joins Great Olympics

Asante Kotoko have confirmed that midfielder Godfred Asante has signed for promoted Ghana Premier League side Great Olympics.

Asante’s contract with the Porcupine Warriors ended at the end of the 2013/2014 season and has signed up for the capital-based side.

The former Heart of Lions player returned from trial with Sigma Olomouc in the Czech Republic but could not land a deal.

Olympics made a return to the Ghana Premier League after winning the Zone III playoffs in May.
