Kamil Zayatte hamstrung ahead of Ghana clash

Guinea are likely to miss the services of captain Kamil Zayatte who suffered a hamstring playing for his English Championship side Sheffield Wednesday last week.

Zayatte limped out after 39 minutes against Ipswich Town in a league match and expected to be out for two to three weeks.

“All symptoms indicate a tear in hamstring. I am very pessimistic. If the diagnosis is confirmed, it will pass,” Guinea coach Michel Dussuyer said.

Dussuyer is yet to name a replacement for the centre-back.

Guinea squad:
