Ghana duo win Finnish League

Ghana duo Gideon Baah and Anthony Annan have won their first Finnish League title with HJK Helsinki with four games to spare.

Klubi secured their 27th Premier League title on Sunday after posting a resounding 4-1 win at TPS.

Both Ghanaian players were involved in the massive win of the game played at Veritas Stadion.

Baah joined HJK at the beginning of the season having excelled with Honka.

He played 24 games – 22 of them being from the start – and scored two goals.

Annan on the other hand played four games for HJK having joined them as a free agent just two months ago.

The feat means HJK will return to the UEFA Champions League as champions of Finland once more again.

HJK will be officially handed their league title and medals in the last game of the season.
