Tigo improves customer support centres

As part of efforts to offer its customers highly interactive and a more satisfying experience, Tigo, says it is upgrading its customer support centres to ‘Customer Experience Centres’.

The telecom service provider says there will be dedicated areas to meet specific customer needs and provide them with the opportunity to sample all the latest phones and tablets.

The new Customer Experience Centres will also have interactive management systems to give customers real time updates of where they are in the queue and enable them move freely in the stores to sample Tigo’s wide variety of products on display.

Already, three of such facilities have been opened at its head office on Barnes Road, the Accra Mall and Takoradi.

Head of Customer Operations at Tigo Ghana, Stephen Essien, said Tigo is refurbishing several other shops to meet the growing needs of customers and ensure improved customer experience.

“Creating dedicated zones will for instance ensure a quick turnaround for customers’ especially those that come in for quick and easy transactions such as Tigo cash and bill payments. Customers will also be able to browse the internet as we have provided free Wi-Fi access” he revealed.

He said Tigo remains committed to improved customer care and experience and will do all it can to meet the growing needs of customers.
