Parts of Accra flooded by early morning rains

Parts of the national capital have been flooded by early morning rains.

Walls of some houses in flood-prone areas such as Santa Maria, Tabora, A-Lang, Kwashiebu and surrounding enclaves, were forced down by heavy floods that resulted from the 2 to 3-hour torrents.

It’s been pouring since 1am, reports StarrFMonline.com’s Kent Mensah, whose house was also affected at Kwashiebu.

Other families were displaced in the middle of the night as the level of the floods rose and entered their rooms.

There have been no reports of deaths or casualties.
