NADMO boss to be honoured with a doctorate for humanitarian services

As part of efforts to immortalise his hard work and recognition, the board and award committee of the Dayspring Christian University, in America have found the coordinator of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) Sir. Kofi Portuphy worthy of a honorary doctorate degree.
According to Dayspring Christian University domiciled in Mississippi in the United States of America (USA) Sir Kofi Portuphy is qualified and has approved him for a doctorate degree based on his numerous humanitarian services which include both local and international recognition, Philanthropic activities creativity, pre-eminence in his field and his pre-eminent leadership in society.
This comes in the wake of the NADMO boss being knighted by the Pope.

Among other reasons why the American University is honouring "uncle Pee" are his unflinching support for humanity, his investment in the kingdom of God, public intellectual and an opinion leader/maker, visionary leader and an exemplary public figure.
The honours which is under the auspices of the University of Ghana in collaboration with the Dayspring Christian University is set to take place on Saturday, 30 August 2014 at the atomic campus of the school of nuclear and allied science of the University of Ghana. At 9:00am-1:00pm prompt.
The event will bring together politicians , academia , civil society and well wishers who would all gather to make the honorary doctorate degree which will be bestowed on him this Saturday.
The DCU also recognised Sir Kofi Portuphy as a leader in academics, the continual maintenance of his numerous staff, how he had fed many mouths and reducing unemployment in the country.

He has also been described as a mentor and a role model to many people.
Sir Kofi Portuphy is the
director of elections for the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), a vice chairman of the party and now contesting the national chairmanship position with a view to resuscitating lost hopes and ensure victory for his party in 2016.
