32 People files nomination in Effutu Constituency NDC executive position

Aspirants contesting for various positions in the forthcoming constituency executive elections are to carry out their campaign in accordance with the constitutions of the parties in the interest of democracy.

The Effutu Constituency National Democratic Congress (NDC) Elections Director, Mr. Odoom Porku made call in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at the constituency office of the party in Winneba where filing took place last Friday August 1, 2014.

At the close of the filing of the nomination forms, 32 people who took the forms have submitted them.

He said three people were contesting the Chairmanship position, two for the Vice Chairman, three for the Secretary, one Deputy Secretary, two Propaganda, two, Deputy Propaganda, three Youth Organizer, four Women Organizer, two for Treasurer, two, Deputy Women Organizer, one Deputy Treasurer, four Organizer and two Deputy Organizer.

Mr. Porku said that, they have proposed 5th and 6th August, 2014 to vet all the candidate and also 31st August, for the elections which are subject for approval by the Regional Executives of the Party.
