Vodafone launches 2014 ‘Discover’ Graduate Programme

Vodafone has launched the 2014 edition of its flagship talent recruitment programme, ‘Discover’, to unearth and develop young graduates from various Universities across the country.

Vodafone is inviting graduates from recognised Universities across the country with a minimum of a Second Class Upper degree in any discipline to submit their application for consideration to join the programme.

According to the Human Resource Director of Vodafone, Stella Agyenim- Boateng, the graduates will go through a 12 month programme that will further develop their skills and hone their talents.

“The Vodafone Discover Graduate programme was introduced in 2011 to shape the career path of young graduates who are passionate about innovation and excellence. We will provide hands-on experience for candidates in a variety of roles across the business to improve their overall knowledge and performance,” she said.

One of the previous beneficiaries of the programme who has since been employed full time, Mercy Smart-Abbey, was excited about the world class training experience.

Graduates, after the 12 months of training and development, stand a chance of competing for the Vodafone Columbus programme where selected applicants get the opportunity to work abroad in any of the 26 Vodafone operating countries.

Interested applicants must be 25 years or less and must have completed their national service. Candidates can apply online at www.discover.vodafone.com.gh. All applications and CV must be submitted by June 14, 2014.
