Veep inaugurates first Ecobank digital centre

Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur on Wednesday inaugurated the first Ecobank Digital Centre in Ghana, with a call on banks to replicate the technology to make banking more convenient and accessible to all.

The Ecobank Digital Centre, located in the Labone Estates in Accra, off the Morning Star School, will provide a 24-hour banking service to its clients.

Vice President Amissah-Arthur described the bank and its facilities as impressive, and commended the Board, Management and Staff on the feat.

According to the Vice President, the 25 years of existence of the bank, was an indication of pursuit of the founding fathers to bring banking to the people within the Pan African agenda.

Vice President Amissah-Arthur expressed the hope that the bank would deliver to the people and extend the digital services to areas as Adenta, Ashongman and Kasoa.
