Ghana's ORIGIN8 highlighted in International Awards

ORIGIN8, a member of the Pelican Group of Companies has been awarded the Century International Quality ERA Award (CQE) in the Diamond category for 2013 for its commitment to quality and excellence.

Origin8, one of Ghana's leading advertising companies, unveiled the award, which brought the companys current recognition to a total Awards count to four to the media.

The first award was in the Gold category in 2003, the Platinum category in 2006 and the third in 2007 in the Diamond category.

This year's Awards ceremony was hosted at the InterContinental Convention Hall in Geneva, Switzerland and brought together business leaders who represented their companies for the international audience and participated in conferences regarding quality case studies in companies in search of quality and excellence.

Mr William Ansah, Chief Executive Officer of Origin8 said through its quality works of creativity and human centered approach to advertising and marketing, the company was recognized for this award based on the criteria of the QC100 quality model, implemented in over 100 countries.

"We have yet again deepened our footprints in the advertising and marketing landscape in Ghana. As a company, our internal motivation is to put Ghana on the world map of advertising and marketing.

It didn't matter how long it would take, we just kept on focusing, and today, we share this prestigious platform because of the lives we have touched with our varying solutions to both national and multinational companies, and other governmental and non-governmental entities".

He expressed his delight and appreciation to the organizers of the award.

Professor Emeritus S. O. Gyandoh, Founder of Gyandoh Asmah and Co, said the Century International Quality ERA Award (CQE) of Business Initiative Directions is presented in recognition of companies throughout the world that furthered their reputation and position by implementing and promoting quality culture.

He said the award also acknowledged organizations continuous contribution to improvement and customer satisfaction as well as improving relations with employees, suppliers and all those associated with the organization.

Origin8 started as an advertising agency, but over the years had expanded into a full service integrated marketing communications company, which offers added-on services in market research, Public Relations, Events, Signages and Sports management.

The Pelican group of companies was incorporated two years ago and comprises of ORIGIN8, Gyandoh Asmah and Co, Gensys Solution and Pelican Properties.
