An Accra-based radio station, TOP RADIO has been closed down. The station was closed down today on the orders of an Accra High Court. The owner of the building from which the station transmits took the station to court to demand the payment of unpaid rent charges running into about 400 million cedis.
The court ordered that the station should be closed down until it redeems it indebtedness, including the payment of relevant interest and court charges.
