South Korea Presents Cars To Foreign Ministry

The South Korean Ambassador, His Excellency Chung Evi-mis has handed over four new E. F Sonata Sedan cars to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The cars cost $70,000 each.

The Ambassador said the Korean Government really appreciated the very warm and co-operative support of Ghana on various occasions in International Organisations. He stressed on his government’s wish to establish stronger and healthier ties with Ghana.

He expressed the hope that the vehicles will serve as a humble token of friendship between Korea and Ghana and be put to good use.

The minister on his part thanked the Korean Government for their gesture and said it was a special day for the ministry since it hardly gets any offers because it is thought that the foreign ministry does not undertake any projects.

He promised that the vehicles will be put to good use and expressed government’s appreciation to the assistance Korea gives to Ghana.
