15 Int. insurance experts to meet at Dodowa

Fifteen insurance companies from Africa and Europe will on Monday begin an international insurance workshop in the country.

The three day workshop which is being organized by Activa International Insurance in partnership with Zurich Insurance Company Limited is scheduled to open at the Dodowa Forest Town Hotel on Monday, 21st October, 2013.

Countries taking part in the insurance workshop are Ghana, Angola, Cameroun, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Seychelles, South Africa, Switzerland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe, and Zambia.

Explaining details of the workshop to the media, Mr. Solomon Lartey, Chief Operating Officer of Activa International Insurance Company said: “This workshop would see international insurance speakers taking participants through the overview of Africa Insurance Market, IPZ Global Trends and Network Update, IPZ Services, Claims and Underwriting as well as Zurich International Property Wording.”

Top insurance experts who are expected to give cutting-edge presentations at the workshop include: Michael Zingg from South Africa, Rolf Marti from Zurich, Marc Scheidegger from Zurich, Thomas Gallati from Zurich, Ian Tofield from South Africa and Solomon Lartey from Activa International Insurance Company, Ghana.
