Popular Osu pub, Epo's gutted by fire

A popular bar and a club, EPOS, at OSU was razed down by fire on Sunday night.

According to the owner, Edward Otu, he traced some fumes coming out of the speakers around midnight and before he could realize the whole place had been gutted by fire.

Residents in the area helped to put out the fire. Speaking to XYZ News, Mr. Edward Otu said all items were destroyed by the fire but no casualties were recorded.

“We tried using fire extinguishers but they didn’t work, there were people in there so we had to wait for them to come out and by that time the whole place had caught fire,” he recounted.

He said about 45 refrigerators and freezers as well 20 flat TV screens were destroyed in the fire.
