4 cited as saboteurs working against Mahama's govt

In our last exposé carried last Tuesday, October 08, inquiring rhetorically whether President Mahama can survive as Head of State bearing in mind the inopportune ordeal his northern comrade, the late Dr.Hilla Liman went through, little did we anticipate the magnitude of the forces militating against the post-independence Mahama to be that formidable, which could gradually lead him into an abyss.

Though our last publication was informed by how goings-on at the presidency was likely to prematurely close the chapter of John Mahama’s presidency, incontrovertible information intercepted since then by this paper indicates that the matter is so muddy and the cracks so cavernous that it requires urgent and swift surgical patch-up to forestall any likely calamitous occurrence.

Whiles ‘outsiders’ including the likes of foremost broadcaster and staunch campaigner for the President’s 2012 bid, Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey otherwise known as Abeiku Santana have in recent times persistently hit hard at people around the president as being responsible for the NDC government's loss of focus, a very disturbing development in the current government picked up by The Al-Hajj also speak of serious division among these very privileged few at the seat of government, over who micromanages the president.

Senior government officials, kingpins in the NDC party and operatives at the seat of government confirming the rift among handlers of President Mahama to this paper, narrated how the situation has been compounded by some four persons in the president's kitchen cabinet who have suddenly become so powerful that, at best they can be described as movers and shakers of the Mahama administration.

Sources at the Flag Staff House say the only option to salvage the president from suffering a similar fate as Dr Hilla Liman is to curtail the growing but distractive influence of these ‘gang of four’ whose names we have for now decided to shelve, but among them, is an integral and treasure of the president. This highly invisible person this paper is in the know, was said to be instrumental and indeed, solely determined the large retinue of ‘who is who’ that accompanied the president on his recent trip to the United Nations and the United States.

The other ‘spoilers of the party’ causing the boat carrying the second ever Northern President to capsize include a senior member of government who is now reportedly riding in motorcades, and recently; as if assuming the role of an Islamic ‘Mufti’, was said to have issued a staid ‘fatwa’ for all persons at the Flagstaff wanting to see the president to first get clearance from him.

Overly obsessed and intoxicated with power, this new “demigod” (more of his escapades in subsequent stories) in cahoots with his ilk according to an insider, obviously wants to clip the wings of others who initially saw the once accessible president as one of their own, hence walked in and out of his office and even his bedroom without a knock at the door.

The other two, who are ‘middle’ level functionaries, yet see themselves essential than even the vice president, and were indeed, in time past virulent bashers of the NDC, today parade themselves as the modern day “Joseph Goebbels” at the presidency.

The Al-Hajj gathered that, the two “Goebbels”, (more on their ‘activities’ soon) believing they are so powerful and important due to their proximity to the number one family, see themselves only next to the president, hence are reported to have no regards for anyone including the vice president. This paper is in full possession of happenings at the presidency and will in subsequent editions disclose the identity of these four and dilate more on them uncensored.
