I will give Fatau a fight for No. 1 spot

Stromsgodset goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey is optimistic he will regain his first-choice slot in the Black Stars again ahead of the 2014 World Cup qualifier against Zambia.
The Norway-born Ghanaian manned the Ghana post during the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea, but lost that position to former Ashantigold shot-stopper Fatau Dauda at South Africa 2013.
Kwarasey told Goal Ghana his current form will make it difficult for coach Kwesi Appiah to keep him on the bench.
“I am quite hopeful I’ll regain that slot,” Kwarasey stated. “I am really looking forward to the match.”
Spain-based keeper Razak Brimah has brought intense competition at the goalkeepers’ department of the Black Stars after impressing in a friendly against Turkey.
Kwarasey conceded: “It will be tough, but my form is better now and hopefully I can give Fatau and Razak a fight for the No. 1 position.”
“I'm really looking forward to the Zambia clash and I know we’ll win looking at the squad in place. It is a strong side and we are ready for the match. Hopefully, I can start playing again.”
Ghana will play the Chipolopolo on September 06 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
