J. A. Plant Pool partners 1st Made in Ghana Solo Exhibition in Nigeria

Support has started pouring in from corporate organizations and personalities both in Ghana and Nigeria for the first Made in Ghana Solo Exhibition in Nigeria which is slated to kick off on the 3rd of September till 7th at LTV Expo hall, Ikeja, Lagos Nigeria.

The Made in Ghana Solo Exhibition which was declared launched in Accra on the 20th of August by the President of Ghana Manufacturers Association, Nana Owusu Opare, in the board room of one of the partners of the project.

First Atlantic bank has again gained the partnership confidence of one of Ghana Conglomerate Company: J.A. Platoon, a reputable company which deals in the business of rentals/leasing of heavy construction equipment in Ghana.

Also, on the list of media support is Global Media Alliance (GMA), a leading communications company in West Africa, with a wide footprint in Africa with significant presence in West Africa, South Africa, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda and Kenya.

A media conglomerate which also boast of media assets such as etv Ghana, Happy FM, Yfm in Accra and Takoradi, which the exhibition will be publicized on.

However, in Nigeria, a well respected business tycoon, philanthropist and administrator, Chief (Dr) Molade Okoya-Thomas MFR has also accepted to be the Chairman of the occasion, a commitment, which has no doubt endorse the entry Ghanaian manufacturers is about to make in to Nigeria market.

First Made In Ghana Solo Exhibition project which is strictly designed for Ghana manufacturers, purposely to showcase Ghana made goods and take participants through guidelines of how they could pave their way through, into the Nigeria market, which is regarded as Africa’s largest market; with the population of over 170million people.

According to the Director General of Ghana, Nigeria Chamber of Commerce and Industry Otunba Michael Ajayi, who is also the facilitator of the Made in Ghana Solo Exhibition in Nigeria, Chief Executive Officer of Vintage Vision and brain behind past successful events such as Ghana-Togo-Benin-Nigeria Business Summit in 2009 with the theme “Breaking Barriers and Partnering To Optimize Trade Potentials,” said this efforts is aimed at strengthening the bi-lateral trade relations between Ghana and Nigeria as well as introducing Ghanaian manufacturers and exporters to an exclusive opportunity to reach out to and explore the vast potentials of the largest single market in Sub Saharan Africa.

Otunba Ajayi who appreciate the Managing Director of J.A.
