GYEEDA report is horrible, stinky – Sam Pee Yalley

A senior member of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sam Pee Yalley, has described as "stinky" a report by the committee that investigated alleged fraud at the Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Development (GYEEDA).

Mr. Sam Pee Yalley further described as "horrible", aspects of the report in which some officials allegedly falsified documents in order to draw huge sums of money on the accounts of GYEEDA.

Speaking on Bawdwam on Adom TV Tuesday, Mr. Yalley said the report confirmed how some state officials colluded with private organisations to loot the state of millions of cedis.

Meanwhile, the Member of Parliament for Tema East, Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover has challenged President John Mahama to demonstrate his pledge to fighting corruption and sanction those indicted within a month.

Mr. Titus-Glover claimed the president has delayed in making the report public in an attempt to protect persons indicted in the report, including his appointees.
