Fear grips KEEA over ritual murder

Residents, especially women, at Kissi and Beasease in the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abirem (KEEA) Municipality of the central Region who were struck with what the police suspect to be ritual murder of three women, have abandoned their farms for fear of suffering the same fate.

Reports say the murders of the three women occurred in a spate of twenty-four hours. Some body parts of the murdered women were taken away.

The terrified residents want adequate security and the apprehension of the perpetrators of these crimes.

Appealing to the Police for help, a woman in the municipality told Correspondent, Richard Kojo Nyarko, the women are planning to flee the town if they do not get assurances for protection.

Head of KEEA Municipal Security Council, Isaac Kweku Sam, told Joy News they are holding an emergency meeting on the issue to remove the panic that has hit the area.
