CEPS Boss asked to proceed on leave

The Commissioner of the Customs Excise and Preventive Service, (CEPS) Major General Carl Modey has been asked to proceed on leave by President Mahama.

A statement by the Minister for Information and Media Relations, Hon. Mahama Ayariga stated that Major General Modey has been nominated as Ambassador Designate.

He is, therefore, expected to take his accumulated leave effective Monday, June 17, 2013.

Mr. Isaac Apronti, the deputy Director for CEPS has been asked to act as Commissioner for CEPS as directed by President Mahama.
