Mahatma not on our radar -. Sarpong

Executive Board Chairman of Asante Kotoko, Dr. Kofi Kodua Sarpong says that leading Premier League scorer Mahatma Otoo is not on the club’s radar.
He told Kumasi-based Metro FM that even though he doesn’t know Otoo personally, the club would always be in the market for good players in the country, noting that should Otoo indicate interest in moving to Kumasi, Asante Kotoko would be ready to sign him.
“Otoo is not on my radar at this stage; he is a property of Hearts of Oak so I can’t discuss him further. I don’t even know him but every good player in this country is a potential Kotoko signing.
“We are an attractive club and will be ready to sign him on if he is interested in playing for us; we understand he has a few months to end his contract with them,” he said.
Dr. Sarpong also told Metro FM that he is unaware of any interest from English Premier League outfit Sunderland in Otoo, adding that he cannot sell a player on someone else’s behalf.
